JMPCC publishes original research, reviews, case reports, and clinical guidelines covering anesthesiology, perioperative medicine, and critical/intensive care. Scope includes anesthetic techniques and outcomes, perioperative risk assessment and optimization, pain management, ICU management of critically ill patients, sepsis and organ failure, trauma and emergency critical care, mechanical ventilation, resuscitation science, and patient safety in the perioperative period. The journal aims to advance evidence-based practice that improves surgical and critical care outcomes.
